iTunes quit unexpectedly using Remote

Often, almost daily, when I try to use remote to start a song on iTunes, iTunes 'unexpectedly' quits.

It does not happen every time, it may work for 1 or 2 days, but it happens too much.


Does anyone recognize this? And is there anyone who can suggest a solution?

Hi Tivivibi,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems that the iTunes app is quitting unexpectedly. There are several things we can do to get iTunes back to normal.
I would recommend you read this article, it has several things you can do to troubleshoot the issue.
